Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This privacy policy explains how SIA "ELE Properties" processes personal data when you visit eleproperties.lv or contact us. We process data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Latvian law. This is a translation of the Latvian version, which prevails.
1. Controller
SIA "ELE Properties"
Registration No.: 40103076742
Address: Pudiķa iela 1, Rīga, LV-1006
E-mail: karlis@eleproperties.lv
Phone: +371 29135588
For any question about data processing, write to karlis@eleproperties.lv.
2. What data we process
- Form data: name, phone, e-mail and your message, as entered in the contact form or the enquiry form on a property listing (including which property you are asking about). You provide it yourself so that we can reply.
- Correspondence: e-mails, calls and messages you send us, and our replies.
- Technical data: server logs briefly keep the IP address, browser data and request time to keep the site secure.
3. Why and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare an offer — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Performing a contract and accounting, if we agree on work — contract (b) and legal obligation (c).
- Website security and operation — our legitimate interest (f).
4. Cookies and statistics
The site uses only cookies needed for it to work and to protect its forms. We count visits with a statistics tool that uses no cookies and does not identify visitors (data is aggregated). We currently use no marketing or tracking tools. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
5. Who else can access the data
We do not sell data. The following service providers process it on our behalf (processors):
- SIA "DK Global Network" (SiteLab) — website development and maintenance;
- Microsoft Azure — hosting and data storage (EU data centres);
- Azure Communication Services — delivery of form notification e-mails;
- our e-mail provider, where we receive messages.
We may disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it. If a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, this happens only with the safeguards the GDPR requires (for example, EU standard contractual clauses).
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and correspondence — as long as needed to reply and keep in touch, usually no longer than 24 months.
- Contract and accounting documents — as long as the Latvian Accounting Law requires.
- Server logs — briefly, for security.
After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data and get a copy, correct inaccurate data, ask for it to be erased, restrict or object to processing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before). Write to karlis@eleproperties.lv — we reply within one month.
8. Complaints
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can contact the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija): Elijas iela 17, Rīga, LV-1050, pasts@dvi.gov.lv, www.dvi.gov.lv.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
